SWCE 2023: Three New Star Wars Movies Announced 

1. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced three new live-action Star Wars films at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023.

2. The first film will be directed by James Mangold, known for his work on “Logan” and “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”.

3. Mangold's movie will explore the origins of the Force and the ancient Jedi Order, going back to the dawn of the Jedi.

4. Dave Filoni, known for his work on “The Mandalorian” and “Ahsoka”, will direct the second film.

5. Filoni's movie will focus on the New Republic and will close out the interconnected stories told in “The Mandalorian”, “The Book of Boba Fett”, “Ahsoka”, and other Disney+ series.

6. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who won an Academy Award for “Saving Face” and an Emmy for “Ms. Marvel”, will direct the third and final film.

7. Obaid-Chinoy's film will be set after the events of “Rise of Skywalker” and feature Daisy Ridley back as Rey as she builds a new Jedi Order.

8. Each film will bring something unique to the table, exploring different aspects of the Star Wars universe.

9. These films will take us on a journey through the galaxy far, far away, from the origins of the Jedi to the rise of a new order.

10. With three films from three talented directors, the future of Star Wars is looking bright.
